Worrell swims today, tomorrow in Olympics. -- SATURDAY CARDINAL COUPLE



KELSI WHIRL IN 100 FLY TODAY

The opening ceremonies for the 2016 Summer Olympics took place last night and Louisville/USA swimmer Kelsi Worrell jumps into the pool today to compete in the 100 Fly qualifications. 


She's scheduled to take place in the 100m heats around 12:30 this afternoon. The semifinals are scheduled for 9:14 p.m. and the finals tomorrow around 9 p.m. All times are Eastern. 

She's the only Louisville swimmer of the seven scheduled to compete today...

ANGEL, USA WOMEN'S HOOPS START SUNDAY


Louisville star Angel McCoughtry and her USA WBB teammates will take to the court on Sunday for the first game in Pool B play...they'll face Senegal at 11 a.m. They have China, Canada, Serbia, Spain also in their group and will play each squad once to determine the pool winner. 

Want to scout the competition? China and Canada square off at 1:15 p.m.today. Serbia and Spain take the court Sunday at 1:15.
