Shoni never played in the ACC but probably would have been All-ACC every year) |
Louisville ranks 5th in the league in Players of the Year with 5. Duke leads with 8 and Maryland had 6 while they were in the conference. Evans became the first player in ACC basketball history (men or women) to receive the conference’s Sixth Player of the Year honor and later earn Player of the Year.
All of this to say, since landing Coach Jeff Walz and joining the ACC, Louisville's rise to national prominence has been apparent and exciting. We've witnessed the growth and competition of the conference as a whole over the last handful of seasons. I still believe in the process and this Louisville coaching staff will return to the final game, END THE SEASON WITH A WIN INSTEAD OF A LOSS, and finally get over that hump!

It's the big one, the natty, that has escaped Walz and the Cards. How long will it take?
