Quick Hitters --- Saturday Cardinal Couple

ROWING, SOCCER, VOLLEYBALL and WALZ

Some quick hitters for you as we head into the weekend.

WALZ SPEAKS

A picture of Walz not sitting down...
Jeff Walz sat down with the media Friday afternoon and did a summer recap fro WBB, the U 19 squad and more. Our illustrious Sam the Intern attended (dressed as Napoleon Bonaparte) and captured the audio. We'll play it in it's entirety later this morning on the CARDINAL COUPLE RADIO HOUR on WCHQ 100.9 FM and streaming live on the internet at:

WCHQ 100.9 FM

Some teasers:

- What is going on with Asia Durr? Walz reveals all!

- What did Walz think of Mariya Moore's performance in the U19 World Championships?

- What drove Emmonnie Henderson to take a year off from WBB and who did she meet with to discuss the possibility?

Join us for today's broadcast at 11 a.m.

VOLLEYBALL ON THE AIR!

Louisville Volleyball will play on ESPN3 ten times during the 2015 season. Seven of the games will take place at the KFC YUM! Center...the Cards will also be shown in games at Georgia Tech, Miami and Florida State.

Ten times to watch Katie George? Yes, please!

LOUISVILLE ROWING ADDS TWO COACHES

Caflisch comes from an assistant coaching gig and UNC while Rinozzi joins the Cards after two years as an assistant at IU.
