SOFTBALL, LAX AMONG THE SPRING SPORTS AT MEDIA DAY
From back when UofL started doing the fall and spring sports media days, to yesterday... we've seen in a variety of locations and formats. Even this year's spring version was moved around to a couple of different days and times, One thing has been constant, though, student-athletes and coaches talking about what they expect. They may not feed us lunch anymore, but...things are tough all over, right?
Tuesday's was at the Planet Fitness Kueber Center and featured men and women's golf, rowing, softball and lacrosse. A great bunch of coaches, as always, and some very talented and well-spoken student-athletes. I look forward to the spring event a bit more, maybe, each year...since I've gotten to know a few of those coaches better over the years.
Instead of trying to break each sport down for you, the vids and clips are below. Draw your own determinations and...Enjoy! Also, attend Springs Sports! A spring afternoon at Ulmer or the Louisville Lacrosse Stadium is a wonderful time!
And, if all that isn't enough to get you to campus, the Softball Cards have a "pickle" on the roster and lacrosse has the Japanese Nakawaza sisters!
(As of press time, not all the sports had posted...we'll try and add them later, as they appear).

Softball sounds like they have more pitching and a quality shortstop. I'm excited
ReplyDeleteHess got a lot of attention in the Atlanta media. She's supposed to be a good one.
