It's here! WBB has first official basketball practice for 2014-15 season -- Thursday Cardinal Couple

WALZ PUTS WBB THROUGH 3 HOUR PRACTICE

The 2014-15 Louisville Women's Basketball season is officially underway! Jeff Walz gathered his squad in Cardinal Arena Wednesday afternoon and put his players through a 3 hour practice.

Key points of concentration were working on transition offense and defense, moving on offense without the ball and rebounding. The skills were administered individually and as a team. Walz also took time to show the players some of the concepts he and the U-18 US Women's Team utilized over the summer.

All 13 Cards on the roster participated in drills.

Hoops are here! Upcoming events include the UofL WBB Tip-Off Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 14th. and UofL WBB Media Day on Thursday Oct. 16th.

Plus plenty of "Walz Ball" practices that will have the 13 crawling back to their dorm...
