FRIDAYS WITH DARYL
Happy Halloween!!!
By the time you're reading this, I will be landing in Las Vegas for the weekend as hubs and I are making the most of 72 hours in the Sin City. The Jags playing the Raiders is what drew us to book the trip (and our love of Vegas made it an easy yes).
And somehow, since its already Halloween weekend, that means the Womens Soccer regular season has concluded. The fantastic news for the Cardinals is that the post season is in their future after finishing up ranked and looking hungrier than ever.

Against SMU, three different Cards scored all in the second half of the match, Emerson Jennings (52'), Brooklyn Lee (64') and Fina Davy (71').    Betsy Huckaby assisted on the latter two and Liza Suydam on the Jennings goal.
Louisville and SMU both matched on shot attempts in both halves with 9 and 4 respectively.  The Mustangs were called offsides 4 times in the first half and 6 in the match.
Erynn Floyd had 3 saves in the match.
NCAA Selection Show is slated for Tuesday 11/11 but first up, ACC tourney time!!!   The Cards will be the 6-seed in the ACC post season.

Basketball season starts Tuesday and the preseason honors keep rolling in for the Louisville women's basketball team. Sophomore guard Tajianna Roberts and senior forward Laura Ziegler were both named to the Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Watch List, the Naismith Awards announced Thursday afternoon.
We're looking forward to bringing you Cardinal coverage from the sidelines this year.  It should be an exciting one!!
As Always,
Go Cards
