MONDAY CARDINAL COUPLE

- Kelsi Worrell wins at AT&T National Championships

The Year of the Cardinal continues...as Louisville Women's Swimming and Diving butterfly specialist Kelsi Worrell won the 200-fly Saturday night in the Allan Jones Aquatic Center on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville, TN. in the AT&T Short Course National Championships.

Worrell, a sophomore from Mt. Holly, N.J. covered the distance in 1:54.12 to take the event. Louisville's 4X100 freestyle relay team also fared well the competition...with Worrell posting a 49.18, they finished seventh.

The Nationals signal an end to Cardinal Swimming for a month or so in competition. January brings a full slate of events to Arthur Albiero's squad.
