FRIDAYS WITH DARYL
Hello again readers, another weekend ahead! Good to be back home.
A week like this one was a happy and sad reminder of how anything could change in a second. I'm so grateful to be able to travel around the country and enjoy sporting events and see new exciting things with the people I love. It was a wonderful weekend out west. And luckily, we returned home <3

Also, a very tragic event hit very close to home for me as me and my friends/family all live near the airport and I work and frequent the UofL campus that my heart goes out to this community.

UofL and UPS have a long partnership with one another and they are about 2 miles away from each other. Its also known that UPS will cover tuition costs for students to work there. Do you know how many UPS planes go directly over the campus every day? I know its rare, but when it does happen, it has a lasting effect. Hug your people.

It'll be the 3rd home game in a row for the Wolfpack coming off a 3-1 win vs California.
Louisville leads the series 10-2, all meetings coming since the Cards joined the ACC expect the UofL program recognizes a match in 1992 that NC State didnt have on record online.
In the 2024 meeting between the two programs, Louisville swept the Wolfpack 3-0. The last time the Cardinals visited Reynolds, the Pack stunned the #5 Cardinals in four sets.
As a team, the NC State defense ranks third in the conference with 14.70 digs per set.
Middle blocker Talia Francom is 12th nationally and second in the ACC with 1.42 blocks per set. Senior Outside hitter Courtney Bryant is 5th in the conference in attacks per set with 10.61. She has 13 matches this year with 10+ kills, 3 with more than 20. In their match against Cal Freshman outside hitter Rebecca Ring posted a career high 22 kills.
The Wolfpack is led by Megan Wargo-Kearney. This will be the first meeting between the two head coaches as both were elevated from their roles with the programs to head coach last season.
