Cards Will Have Flash Give Against Nebraska
Name, Image, and Likeliness (NIL) has gone from the new kid on the block to the most talked about subject of any college sports team. Louisville is no exception as NIL has dominated recruiting and bringing in top notch talent.
Recently, Louisville has participated in a flash promotion for NIL fundraising at a football game and women's basketball game. The football promotion was when the Cards upset then-#10 Notre Dame prior to the field rush. The women's basketball game promo came when the Cards faced a top-five Virginia Tech team in the spring.
When Louisville volleyball hosts top-five Nebraska on Sunday, we will see the next NIL Flash Give promotion. 502Circle, Louisville's NIL Collective, will accept contributions via credit card, debit card, and Apple Pay. The match will be the first ever regular season college volleyball game aired on ABC. ABC is a part of the Walt Disney Company so the match can also be streamed online on the ESPN app.
Jeff will be in attendance in his normal seat with his mom while I plan to be on the court taking pictures. Before that, Louisville travels to Kentucky on Wednesday. This is another one where Jeff and I should both be in attendance at Memorial Coliseum.
We will preview the match against Kentucky in tomorrow's column so don't forget to tune back here tomorrow. This will be the 66th all-time meeting between the rivals.
