Fridays with DARYL
Good morning Louisville fans! Basketball season is not over! The joy and excitement of Louisville women's basketball is still alive. And it is not for the faint of heart. I think my fitbit recorded a heart rate of 93 for me sometime in the third quarter against the Wildcats. I just have to say how proud I am of the overall team effort by the Louisville squad in this week's matchups. I mean.. there's winning a game.. and then there's winning the game. The freshman really stepped it up and I also wanted to give the coaching staff a shoutout for their huge vocal support from the sidelines when it was needed most! Sam Purcell leading the charge. You could tell that this team was not ready to come home.
Coach Walz and Dana Evans are scheduled to talk with the media this afternoon from San Antonio.
