Syracuse brings a 7-9 record into the game. ACC play has proved difficult for the Orange as they are just 1-4 in conference play. Most recently, Syracuse took down Miami 66-61. Prior to that, they had lost three straight to SMU, Florida State, and Georgia Tech.
The Orange have outscored opponents 1,176 (73.5 ppg) - 1,143 (71.4 ppg). They have been exceptional on the boards, outrebounding opponents by 3.5 rebounds per game. Georgia Woolley (15.3 ppg) and Kyra Wood (11.2 ppg) have been the top scorers this season and are the only two averaging double figures. Wood has also been the top rebounder with nearly seven boards per game.

Louisville is 20-8 all-time against Syracuse. In their most recent match-up last season, Syracuse hit a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining to earn the 73-72 win. Prior to that, the Cards had won eight straight. Louisville is 12-1 at home in the series.
Cardinal Couple plans to have in-person coverage for the game.
Happy Thursday and Go Cards!

Yeah, we ALL remember the intentional foul call that prompted a NCAA rule interpretation change that didn't help us. We would have finished in 4th place in the ACC with the two round bye instead of 5th with the one round bye 😡
