| TCU grabs the UK sponsored Bettie Lou Evans Tournament |
The days of Lauren Hartlage may be over for Louisville women's golf, but the 2024 version of the Whitney Young coached squad is dong quite well for themselves.
The "Chip and Putt" Cards finished fourth in the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational recently...tweny strokes back of tournament winner TCU and just nine strokes behind in-state rival UK.
The tournament is named after Bettie Lou Evans, who coached the UK Wildcat women's golf squad from 1979-2001 and passed away in 2023.

For the Cards, Thienna Huynh led the way. She was four over par for three days with a 220. It was good for a 10th place finish overall. Closely behind her was Carmen Griffiths, who finished with a 221 for 54 holes. Millie Cottrell and Bailey Burkett finshed with a 224 for Louisville.
The squad prepares for the Cardinal Cup, which begins on friday. The event will be held at it's traditional home course, the UofL Golf Club out in Simpsonville, KY.
