Hello, campers! -- THURSDAY CARDINAL COUPLE

JUNE AND JULY HUGE CAMP MONTHS FOR LOUISVILLE WOMEN'S SPORTS PROGRAMS

There probably aren't any scary ghost stories by a campfire, arts and crafts sessions, saluting the camp directors shorts or smores...but there's a lot of camps going on this month for the Louisville women's sports programs. Here's some of the action: 

LOUISVILLE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Hoops Cards have already had an Elite Skills Camps on June 11th and there is currently a Day Camp for Grades 3-8 that is winding up today at the Student Athletic Center. More ahead...a team camp for JV and Varsity begins June 17th. and another Elite Skills Camp (grades 9-12) will take place June 22nd. To learn more about Louisville WBB camps, click the link below:

FIELD HOCKEY

Justine Sowry and staff have already had a Skills Camp for ages 5-13 earlier this month and are conducting another at Trager Stadium that ends today. Elite Camps will be featured in July...two of them...these are for ages 13-20 and are on July 5-6 and July 9-10. We're headed down to campus today to talk with Coach Sowry and we're sure camps will be a part of the conversation. Here's a link for the Field Hockey camps:

WOMEN'S SOCCER

They're getting their kicks in the grass over at the UofL Soccer Field...across from McDonald's off Floyd...from June 20-24 with the Future Cardinals camp. They're will be camps in July as well. Interact with the staff and players at these camps!  More information can be found at:

LACROSSE

Kellie Young's Louisville lacrosse camps will be held in July. There are Developmental (ages 7-13) and Elite (grades 6-12) planned at the Louisville Lacrosse Stadium. We haven't seen anything on the tongue-in-cheek, proposed 'Old and In the Way' Camp for 55+ yet...Coach is probably trying to line up AARP, a hearing aid company and eye-wear organization for sponsorships.  More information on these July camp can be perused at:

VOLLEYBALL

Anne Kordes' June camps have already entered but there are a ton of them coming up in July! Skills, setting, hitting and serving, positional, libero, team and Volleytots are all planned and are held at the YUM! Center on South Floyd Street...next to the Louisville Lacrosse Stadium. Anne, her staff, current and former player are the instructors. Read all about it at the link below:

SOFTBALL

An all-skills camp for ages 7-12 winds up today at Ulmer Stadium...but four more camps are planned in June. Advanced hitting, catching, pitching and All-Skills are coming up for ages 12-18. To get in the swing of things, check it out below. Strike!
