OLIVIA CASON TIED FOR FOURTH IN FRANKLIN
Owensboro freshman Olivia Cason followed up Friday's strong performance with another beauty yesterday on the Vanderbilt Legends Club South Course with a two under par 70 to place her tied for fourth after two days in the Mason Rudolph Championship. Cason is now five under par with a 139 for 36 holes and the Cards are in seventh place...19 strokes behind front runner Georgia...who has a two-day total of 561. She's produced eight birdies in two days.
Laura Restrepo logged a 70 in yesterday's play and sits at 143. Katie Mitchell rebounded from a rough opening day to card a 72 and Lexie Long checks in with a two-day total of 150.

WIDE-NET CARDS FACE CATS IN LEXINGTON TODAY
The annual showdown with Kentucky in Volleyball takes place in Lexington's Memorial Coliseum today at 2 p.m. and the Cards are looking to extend their current four match win streak and avenge last year's loss to UK in the KFC YUM! Center.
Louisville (6-3) defeated Cincinnati in 4 games Thursday night and will look to the dependable hitting of Janelle Jenkins, Erin Fairs and Maya McClendon to score against UK. Freshman Molly Sauer continues to impress at libero for Louisville and Katie George is having an excellent season setting up the kill artists.
A side note of interest is that Louisville freshman outside hitter Jasmine Bennett's father Winston played basketball for UK after receiving Kentucky High School Mr. Basketball honors in 1983. Bennett went on to play NBA basketball for Cleveland and Miami.
He probably won't be in red today...we'll try to get an interview with him and talk about the duality of his life these days...
The #24 ranked Cats (6-5) are led by sophomore hitters Kaz Brown and Darian Mack. Setter Morgan Bergren has 362 assists on the season and sophomore Ashley Dusek has 177 digs for UK.
The teams have had three common opponents this season. Louisville defeated Creighton and Ohio and lost to Illinois. UK fell to all three.
Expect a packed house in Memorial today for this one. It will be shown on the SEC Network Plus.
