Louisville softball was off yesterday after rain that moved through much of the region canceled their game in South Bend. They'll play two today to get back on schedule and wrap up the weekend series tomorrow. Today's first game will begin at Noon and the second will commence at 2:30, or approximately half an hour after the conclusion of the first. Both games will be available via streaming.
Today's big event, of course, is the Kentucky Derby. As you likely know, we here at Cardinal Couple are various levels of horse racing junkies, but it gets turned up to 11 for just about everyone in the city on the first Saturday in May.
As such, we'll take the week off from the Cardinal Couple Radio Hour Podcast. As everyone prepares for their day, we encourage all to stay safe, drink and gamble responsibly, and most of all, have fun! We'll check in with Paulie tomorrow to see if he had as good of a Derby Day as he did Oaks (10-12 winners) or if he got cleaned out.
