Other invitees out of the 35 headed to the tryouts include Cardinal target Bria Smith, Bria Hartley (UConn), Odyssey Sims (Baylor), Alyssa Thomas (Maryland) and Meighan Simmons (Tennessee).

Schimmel was second leading scorer for the Cards in the 2010-11 season with 15.1 points a game. She was named first team Freshman All-American by Full Court Press and was on the BIG EAST All-Freshman team. She'll be the subject of the documentary film "Off the Rez" which will be shown on TLC on Saturday May 14th.

Sounds like a busy summer for the former Umatilla Reservation resident. If selected, she'd play in games in Chile from July 21-31.  A great honor and opportunity for "Showtime" and the UofL women's basketball team.
