That'll open up the outside shot.

I remember how excited we were to have Green coming to Louisville. I hope she can eventually get herself straightened out.

Curtis "Be Kind" FranklinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8945676324950180664.post-2489394582249995272022-01-30T11:18:27.009-05:002022-01-30T11:18:27.009-05:00Balogun and Dixon were huge "gets" at th...Balogun and Dixon were huge "gets" at the time when they came here from a crumbling Georgia Tech. Tech rebuilt and responded well to Coach Fortner. Balogun was an integral part of the Cards but I always wondered if she felt a bit overshadowed by, first, Evans and then Van Lith.

Anyway, I hope she's happy at Duke. I see them as a longshot for the NCAA Tournament and see Louisville handling them today without too much trouble. That being said, get ready for a double-overtime nail-biter.

Blue LouAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8945676324950180664.post-32293730730070820682022-01-30T11:11:39.632-05:002022-01-30T11:11:39.632-05:00No ill will against Balogun, but, hope she isn'...No ill will against Balogun, but, hope she isn't at her best today. She left the Cards in a lurch a couple of years ago when she went to practice (we talkin' practice?) with her national team. Thankfully, Louisville recruited and portalled over her and made her expendable.

Interesting on Green. She came in so ballyhooed and nothing ever developed.

Nick O.
