Campus update -- FRIDAY CARDINAL COUPLE

So glad for another weekend to be here, looking forward to keeping it chill in our house, which isnt always bad. 

Some sounds and sights from around campus this week

With the summer storm season in full swing i think its a great reminder to avoid driving during them and also DO NOT enter any standing water.  With the large dumps of rain, the UofL area tends to flash flood pretty bad.   Just dont chance it.  

I returned some library books earlier this week (did not finish them)

With that said, I know I've said it before.. you never know who you may run into on campus and for me, it was the great Anna Debeer in line for coffee in the SAC. 

I got a chance to have a quick chat with Anna sans boot!   

She said she was healing well and working on finishing up her MBA.  I told her thanks for the great season and I just SO WISH she was able to play in the title match because I swear they would've won it all had she been able to suit up.  She said it was hard watching from the sidelines.  And for inquiring minds, it looked like she walked away with one of the pink refreshers as her drink of choice. 

I appreciate Anna taking the time to chat me up for a few.
